UFC BIO Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS), pH 7.4, is a liquid buffer for laboratory washing, sample preparation and cell resuspension where PBS is specified by your protocol.
Choose PBS 1X for use directly from the bottle. Choose PBS 10X when you prefer to prepare a 1X working solution as needed.

Preparation
- PBS 7.4 1X: Use directly. No dilution is required.
- PBS 7.4 10X: Dilute one volume of concentrate with nine volumes of suitable laboratory-grade water. To prepare 1 L of PBS 1X, combine 100 mL of PBS 10X with 900 mL of water.
- Use sterile water and aseptic handling when your application requires sterility.
- Store PBS 10X at 15–25 °C. If crystals form, warm to room temperature and mix until fully dissolved before diluting.
