10X TG-SDS Buffer (Tris-Glycine-SDS) is a concentrated stock solution prepared for reliable protein gel electrophoresis. It is typically diluted to 1X for routine use in the lab.

Tris helps maintain a stable pH, glycine supports effective protein separation, and SDS provides uniform denaturation and migration across the gel.

Formulation (1X working solution): 25 mM Tris, 192 mM Glycine, 0.1% SDS, made with ultrapure 18.2 MΩ water.
