10X Tris-Tricine-SDS is a running buffer for SDS-PAGE of proteins. It is used in the separation of small proteins. Tricine gives a more efficient stacking/destacking of low molecular weight proteins and shows smaller peptides in greater resolution.
Formulation: Final concentration of 1X working solution 100mM Tris, 100mM Tricine, 0.1% SDS, made with 18.2Ω water, pH 8.3.
