10X Phosphate Buffered Saline is used as an isotonic buffer frequently used in biological applications, such as washing cells, transportation of tissues, and dilutions. PBS closely mimics the pH, osmolarity, and ion concentrations of the human body. It is easy to dilute with deionized water, fast and efficient, and QC controlled reagents.
