This product is used in biological research and contains potassium chloride, sodium chloride, and sodium phosphate. PBS is non-toxic to mammalian cells and isotonic.

Solution composition (1X):137 mM sodium chloride (NaCl), 2.7 mM potassium chloride (KCl), 12 mM monosodium phosphate
It does not contain magnesium or calcium
